In true Birding for Fun style, we provide the transportation for the entire trip from Galveston to Corpus Christi and back, birding at hotspots along the way. We’ll visit Aransas National Wildlife Refuge and Goose Island State Park on the first day in search of Whooping Cranes, stay in Corpus Christi overnight, and then spend the second day birding hotspots such as the Laguna Madre, Oso Bay Wetlands Preserve, and Mustang Island State Park. You’ll get the opportunity to see Whooping Cranes, Reddish Egrets, Ospreys, Bald Eagles, Aplomado Falcons, and more!

Sit back and enjoy the ride as we take you on a guided tour from Galveston to the Texas City Dike and back! You’ll get the opportunity to see Common Loons, American Avocets, White Pelicans, Black Skimmers, Bufflehead, Common Goldeneye, Red-breasted Mergansers, and many other great species up close, without having to do a lot of hiking! We’ll take a break for lunch mid-day (cost of lunch not included.) Please dress warmly, as it can be windy on the dike. You may want to bring snacks and drinks.
